No Power--Day 5

Well, here it is day 5 in Oklahoma City and still no power! We made contact with our landlord yesterday and he was able to provide us with a small generator that is providing enough power to have a light, the TV, internet and two small space heaters. We also have a fire going in the fire place. We have a snow storm coming into the area this evening and they are predicting up to 4 inches of snow. I have a feeling we won't see power until after the weekend.

I did try to get a hotel room but nothing is available in the entire metro area. So we are toughing it out here in our home. The generator has made it somewhat more bearable. Erik was driving down to Texas to see Jocelyn yesterday in Janae's car and it broke down about an hour south of town. Might be as serious as a head gasket or rings. We will see. The car had to be towed back to OKC and the tow truck driver gave Erika ride back. The drive was an evangelical and preached to Erik all the way home :)

It has been one crazy week!!
