The first photo is of Stage Center--a theater complex that the Arts Council owns and that the city manages. It was designed by a world famous architect named John Johansen. It has a 580-seat thrust stage and a 230-seat arena stage. The second photo shows downtown Oklahoma City in the distance. This photo was taken from a hospital nearby where we live. The third photo shows the state capitol far in the distance (in the center of the photo). The fourth photo is of downtown Oklahoma City taken from just outside my office. A beautiful city park called the Myriad Gardens is just across the street. During the Festival of the Arts, the street is closed and is filled with the booths of almost 150 artists.
