These are pheasants that our friends killed for us. Jared actually skinned and de-feathered them himself. I was completely (and unexpectedly) freaked out by their beady little eyes staring at me and fled.

Sometime i'll have to tell you the story about how Peter had Marissa and Melanie butcher a turkey with a rusty blade as a life lesson.
